You have grant money for digitisation. You need someone who will deliver.
A company that has been awarded a digitisation grant doesn't get to pick a contractor from among friends. It has to publish a tender, collect offers and choose against criteria set out in advance. That takes two things: someone who helps write the statement of work so it can actually be delivered and settled, and someone who then really builds the program and hands it over on time. We do both.
What that means in practice
The money is awarded for a specific scope, and the contractor has to be chosen in an open procedure: you publish a tender, wait for offers, choose against the criteria you announced, and document all of it for the settlement.
The hard part is the first step — the statement of work. It has to be specific enough for offers to be comparable, and open enough not to rule anyone out. A vague description ends in offers you can't compare. Too narrow a one ends in questions from the funding body at settlement.
We do that part together with you, and then, if we win the tender, we build the program. No subcontractors, the project is run by the two owners, your code and data are yours from day one.
What these programmes usually fund
Call names and conditions change every year, so we don't list them on this page — we check the current call together on a free first call, against the funding body's own documents. What does repeat is where the money goes:
- Buying and rolling out a program built to order, around one company's processes
- Automating repetitive office work: re-typing data, issuing documents, moving orders along
- Production management systems: orders from the office to the floor, work progress, flagging shortages
- Work records: time and attendance, hours booked against jobs
- Connecting the programs you already have so the same data isn't re-typed by hand
- Training the team and care after go-live, where the call's terms allow it

What working with us on a grant-funded project looks like
A free call. We look at what the program has to do, where your application stands and what needs preparing. You pay nothing for it and it commits you to nothing.
The implementation plan. Five days of work ending in one document: a written scope, a staged timeline and a fixed price in writing. That document goes into the application, and the statement of work comes out of it.
The tender. You publish it wherever the funding body requires. We submit an offer on the same terms as everyone else.
Rollout in stages. From 4 weeks, paid in instalments per stage, with a working version to look at every week. Invoices and handover protocols written so they can go straight into a payment claim.
After go-live. We stay on for fixes and small changes. Your code and data are yours from day one, so you're never stuck with us.
We don't write applications and we don't settle grants — that's a job for an advisor. We deliver the technical side: the description of what is to be built, and the program itself.
The implementation plan as an attachment to your application

The full amount comes back in the settlement once we start the project — if we go ahead together, the plan effectively costs you nothing.
You get one document: a written scope of work, a timeline split into stages, a fixed price in writing and sketches of the key screens. As much detail as an application usually asks for in the task description, and as much as it takes to write the statement of work. The document is yours — you keep it even if someone else ends up doing the rollout.

Q.1Do you help write the grant application?
No. We don't write applications and we don't settle grants, because that's a job for an advisory firm and we don't want to pretend we're experts at it. We do the technical side: the description of what is to be built, the scope, the timeline and the fixed price. With that in hand, your advisor — or you — fill in the application.
Q.2Which call is open right now and how much can I get?
Deadlines and terms change several times a year, so we don't list them on this page — an out-of-date date would be worse than none. We check the current call together on a free first call, against the funding body's documents, and your advisor confirms the amounts.
Q.3Doesn't helping write the description rule you out of the tender?
We write the description so that anyone could deliver it: no brand names, no clauses tailored to one contractor. We then submit an offer on the same terms as everyone else, and you're free to pick someone else. If your funding body has its own rules on this, confirm them with your advisor before you publish the tender.
Q.4What if I don't get the grant?
The implementation plan stays yours and doesn't expire. You can take it to the next call, or build the project without a grant, in a smaller scope and in stages. There's no obligation to keep working with us.
Q.5Will you make the deadline in the grant agreement?
We roll out from 4 weeks and work in stages, so the timeline is visible from the start rather than at the end. Before we sign anything we check the completion date in your agreement and build the schedule with room to spare. If the deadline can't be met honestly, we say so straight away instead of promising.
Q.6How do settlement and invoicing work?
You pay in instalments per stage. For each stage you get an invoice and a handover protocol describing what was done, so it can go into a payment claim. The fixed price in the contract doesn't change along the way.
