Subiekt GT, connected to online sales
Subiekt GT holds your warehouse and sales, while orders come in from Allegro, an online store, or several channels at once. Someone enters each one into Subiekt by hand. We connect it through the Sfera layer so orders arrive on their own.
What a Subiekt GT integration means
A Subiekt GT integration connects this program to sales channels and other business systems, marketplaces like Allegro, an online store, a warehouse system, so orders and stock do not need entering separately in each place. Subiekt GT integrates mainly through the InsERT Sfera layer, the manufacturer's official mechanism for programmatic data access, technically different from the REST API found in newer systems.
The most common case is selling across several channels at once: Subiekt holds one true stock level, and orders from every channel land in it as finished sales documents. Without that, stock has to be watched separately in each channel, and with several channels it drifts out of sync faster than anyone notices.
We are not a certified InsERT partner, and we will not describe ourselves that way. We build integrations through Sfera the way many independent contractors working with this system do, and we say so plainly before anyone asks.
How an implementation works
We start by checking whether you hold a Sfera license and how many sales channels need connecting, since that shapes the whole project.
- 1We check the Sfera license and the channels to connectAccess through Sfera needs a separate license from access to Subiekt itself. We check whether you have it and count how many sales channels actually need connecting to it.
- 2We decide which system holds the true stock levelWith several sales channels, Subiekt has to be settled as the source of truth for stock, with channels only reflecting it. Without that rule, two channels can sell the same last unit.
- 3We build the connection and test it on your ordersReal orders from your channels, not sample test data, because that is where differences in numbering, units, or product names between systems show up.
- 4We run it in parallel, then switch off manual entryFor a few days orders enter Subiekt automatically and results get compared against what a person would have entered by hand. Manual entry only stops once results match repeatedly in a row.
What this looks like in practice
Example (hypothetical)A household goods wholesaler runs its warehouse in Subiekt GT and sells at the same time through Allegro and its own online store. Today one person logs into both channels every morning, checks new orders, and enters each one into Subiekt by hand, then updates Allegro's stock separately to avoid selling something already gone.
A connection through Sfera enters orders from both channels into Subiekt automatically as finished sales documents, with the right contact and line items. Stock levels from Subiekt flow back to Allegro and the store several times a day, so both channels always show what is genuinely on the shelf.
How long an implementation takes
2 to 6 weeks
Shorter when a Sfera license is already in place and the integration covers one sales channel. Longer when several channels need connecting at once and their behaviour needs settling for when the same item sells simultaneously in more than one place.
Questions about the Subiekt GT integration
- Are you an InsERT partner or certified integrator?
- No. We build integrations through the Sfera layer, the way many independent contractors working with Subiekt do, but we are not a partner of or certified by InsERT. You can check directly with the manufacturer.
- How is a Sfera integration different from an API integration?
- Sfera is InsERT's older but still widely used mechanism for programmatic access to Subiekt, technically different from the REST API found in newer systems like online stores or Comarch Optima. It needs a separate license and a different approach to building the connection, but the end result, data flowing by itself, is the same.
- How many sales channels can be connected at once?
- Technically as many as you like, but we always start with one channel, confirm stock stays reliably in sync, and only then add the next. With several channels, the key is settling that Subiekt is always right about stock.
- What happens if two channels sell the same last unit?
- That happens when stock updates too infrequently or channels lack a shared source of truth. We settle the sync frequency and the priority rule together with you to keep this risk to a minimum, it cannot be brought to zero when selling across multiple channels.
- Do we need a newer version of Subiekt?
- Sfera works with currently supported versions of Subiekt GT. We check your version on the first call and say plainly if an update is needed before quoting anything.
